100th Post! Free Health Room Starter Guide

Here we go, blog post number 100!

It’s crazy to think I’ve now been running this site for over a year. It only feels like yesterday that I was buying the domain name, fumbling around with CSS coding and trying to figure out what the hell I was gonna write about…

A lot has changed since then! I’ve learnt a lot about myself, and my place in the world. I’ve gradually started to find my feet, and my voice too. I feel like I’ve grown up quite a bit, and Health Room has grown along with me.

As crazy as it sounds to me, blogging has transformed from a part-time personal project to my full-time profession! It’s morphed into something that’s much bigger than me, and it’s been cool to go along for the ride. Thank you to those of you who have been around from the start, and of course to those of you who have joined along the way.

The past few months in particular have been really busy. I’ve had opportunities pop up that I could never foresee – magazine articles, expos, interviews, webinars… It’s been amazing.

Aside from all that, one of the biggest projects I’ve been working on lately is one that I’m excited to share with you today: my new eBook, which I’m giving away free of charge. The book is called:

The Health Room Starter Guide – 40 ways to eat more plants, move freely, live mindfully and exist sustainably.

It’s kind of a thank you gift to those of you who have subscribed to the blog, shared my ideas, and helped build what you see today. It’s also an incentive for others to join the Health Room community, to keep this movement growing…

What’s the book about?

The Health Room Starter Guide is a collection of ideas I’ve formed over the past year or so. It’s essentially a framework for what I believe it takes to live a healthy, authentic, inspiring life. A handbook, that I hope will help you evaluate your own life situation, find your place in the world, and start aligning yourself with the life you truly want to live.

I’ve mentioned this before, but repetition only helps drive the message home: health is a complex picture, made up of many interacting components. To be healthy, you have to pay attention to lots of different facets. For example, you may well have the best diet in the world, but if you can’t deal with stress, or if you’re not moving regularly, you’ll never really get the chance to experience true health.

So The Health Room Starter Guide is a primer on all the things we can do to move towards our health potential. It’s a collection of 40 ideas within the four main areas I like to cover here on the blog:

  • Plant based nutrition
  • Movement
  • Mindfulness
  • Sustainability

Ten ideas for each topic. Nice and easy.

By no means am I claiming to be an expert in any of these areas, but hopefully some of the ideas I share in the book will resonate with you. If they do, the next step is to take action. Because ideas without action are no good. They don’t get us anywhere..

If nothing in the book resonates with you, that’s cool too. Discard it, and move onto something else. But I do believe there’s something there for everyone, so maybe give it a chance.

How do I get my copy?

That’s simple.

As I said, the Health Room Starter Guide is available completely free of charge.

If you’re already an email subscriber to Health Room, you don’t have to do anything! You’ll have an email off me sometime today with your copy of the book. So keep an eye out for that.

If you’re new to the site, or you’re not a subscriber, you can go get your copy here, or click the button at the bottom of the post.

All you have to do is enter your name and email address, and I’ll send you across The Health Room Starter Guide within the hour. Along with your eBook, you’ll get updates delivered straight to your inbox whenever a new blog post is sent out here at Health Room. You’ll also have access to subscriber only content, competitions, updates and more.

One of my goals with this site is to be as transparent and open as I can. I promise never to spam you. No messing around, and no preaching. If at some point you change your mind and decide it’s not for you, you can easily unsubscribe at any point. I may shed a tear, but I’m sure I would get over it…

That’s about all I have to say today! Again, big thanks to the people who have made this year possible. I hope you enjoy the eBook and get something from it. As always, feedback is appreciated! And if you think the book could help someone else, don’t be afraid to spread the word!

Stay healthy!
