What I’m up to right now

Habits, projects & general life stuff

(Circa Spring 2017)

  • Freelance copywriting & design. I’ve been fortunate to work with some great new clients already this year, helping them with various copywriting and design projects. I’m currently taking on board a few new peeps, so if you’re ever in need of a Copyeditor/Copywriter or Designer, come say hi here and we can talk the bizzzznizzzz.
  • Learning Español. We’re looking to travel across Europe (potentially in the next few months), so I thought I’d at least try to grasp the basics of a language other than English (which is sometimes a struggle in itself tbh)… I’m using DuoLingo and TinyCards, essentially the Headspace of language learning apps.
    ¡Es tan bueno!
  • Re-prioritizing my training. Daily movement and play > any structured training program, as far as I’m concerned. So that’s the way things are moving. There’s still some structured practice and goals to shoot for here and there, but mostly play, exploration and enjoyment. Come say hi on insta if you like.
  • Still solidifying the old morning meditation practice. I use guided meditations (usually Headspace for 15-20 min) followed by some deep breathing, heart rate variability measurements and mobility work. Shooting for 365 days in a row (about 3/4 of the way there!).
  • Enjoying the sunshine. Summer seems to have come early in the UK! That means more hikes, more outside play (and a little less work). Fine by me 🙂
